Welcome to O2 Landscapes

Making gardens is a tricky business. As an art form, it has always been (and continues to be) undervalued, yet it is one of the most important of the arts. In affecting the environments in which everybody lives their lives, we (the horticulture/landscape industry) exert a quiet influence on the evolution and memory of New Zealand's culture and landscape.

For this reason, we have a responsibility to consider the nature of the places in which we live and work, so that what we achieve is respectful of the natural and cultural history that we inherit.

This is the focus of O2 Landscapes, an Auckland-based landscape design and installation company, specialising in the creation of gardens that relate to the country and places that we are a part of.

Kāri

O2 Landscapes has formed a collaboration with artist Michael Shepherd, who has had a long association with New Zealand art, early New Zealand social history and Māori pre-history.
