Guest lecturing at Victoria University in 2012
From July to October 2012, Philip Smith is lecturing (one day a week) in planting design at Victoria University. This was a continuation of the previous two years' work, in which Philip contributed to the Landscape Architecture programme, as a 'Visiting Scholar'.
A major focus of the series of classes is to bolster students' knowledge of growth forms and plant species, as well as looking into the compositional lessons that natural ecologies can convey.
