HOME New Zealand magazine features Te Mata garden

O2 Landscapes' Te Mata garden is one of five gardens, from around New Zealand, to feature in the HOME New Zealand 2011 landscaping special. The article highlights both the natural and cultural influences that were important in the garden's design, with images showing the eastern flower border (in early summer) and the more pared-back west-facing front of the house, where our 'archaeological' paving is situated.

To find out more about the garden (including more images), further information is provided in the portfolio section of the O2 Landscapes website. We have also recently completed a portfolio profile on another garden for a Stevens Lawson house, in Westmere (within Auckland's inner suburbs).

In addition to the portfolio description on the Te Mata garden, we have written a separate account (in the 'Essays' section of the website), about the process of designing our paving system, which is based on archaeological sites of the southern Hawke's Bay.
